The Stiletto Stampede for the Cure is a high heel dash (100 yards) with a mission to encourage young women and men to know and understand the risks of breast cancer and empower them to prevent the disease by utilizing overall Breast Self-Awareness through early detection, screening methods and education.
Please don’t let the ‘running in heels’ part deter you from registering — we welcome walkers, prancers and strutters as well!
Race Check-In is at 9 am at the Amphitheater and the Race Start Time is 10:00 AM. High Heels 2.5 inches or taller required. 100 yards. Event heats are not competitions.
- Survivor Stampede Heat (Honoring all Cancer Survivors-Walk or Run!)
- Stiletto Stampede Heat (100 Yard — High Heel Dash)
- Stroller Stampede Heat (Family Dash — Moms & Dads in Heels)
- Pooch Scooch (Costume Contests — “Outrageous In Pink” & “Over the Top”. All Dogs must be on a leash!)
Please join us following the Stampede (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM) at Dillard’s for a fashion show, complimentary makeovers, breast cancer educational seminars and giveaways!
Entrance fee for participants is $30.00 (plus online registration fee) and includes: goodie bag, race shirt, a pair of IdealHeels and educational information.
Proceeds from the race go to the Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to provide much needed services to breast cancer patients in the Greater Austin community.

Please join IdealHeel™, the Stiletto Stampede for the Cure™ 2010, Nyle Maxwell SuperCenter and The Original Nyle Maxwell in Taylor this Wednesday at the Dell Diamond for Pink in the Park, a fabulous fundraiser benefiting Komen Austin!
For the second consecutive season, Round Rock Express Baseball Club will turn The Dell Diamond pink in support of the Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Wednesday, July 21, will be “Pink in the Park” night as the Express host the New Orleans Zephyrs at 7:05 p.m. CDT.
